Our Mission Statement
At Holy Family Catholic Primary and Nursery School Christ is at the centre of all the we do. As a Catholic School our virtues of respect, friendship, forgiveness, honesty, compassion and kindness all encompassed by our overarching value of love, are rooted in the Gospel as we learn and grow together to recognise that Christ is all around us.
Our Mission Statement was created by incorporating the views of everyone in our school community including children, parents, staff, governors. Sister Judith Russi supported the school community in the development of our school mission statement. It is clearly understood by all and underpins everything that we do both in school and beyond.
We fully believe that wherever you are in our school, you will see our mission statement being lived - in our classrooms, in the playground and in all our daily interactions with each other.
Our Vision
Christ is at the centre of all that we do. Through God’s love and with guidance from the Holy Spirit, we seek to nurture in our school family an understanding of the importance of Christian values, and a lifelong commitment to God.
The adults and children treat each other and the wider world with respect and kindness, growing in friendship with each other and God.
We strive to provide an excellent education and wider opportunities for the children entrusted to us, so that our children may grow into the best they can be showing honesty, compassion and forgiveness to others. We value each person’s God given gifts and ensure the curriculum enables our children to have the skills to be adaptable and able to respond to the needs of today and tomorrow’s world.
